Muitos fãs irão dizer que isto é apenas o começo e sinceramente nós esperamos que sim. A TV norte-americana Spike acaba de divulgar a lista dos vencedores do prêmio "Scream 2008" e o filme The Dark Knight teve destaque na noite. A apresentação da premiação vai ao ar nesta terça-feira às 21 horas.

O produtor do filme Charles Roven, bem que tentou escapar das perguntas sobre a sequencia mas foi impossível: "Não posso falar a esse respeito. Estamos muito empolgados com a possibilidade de montarmos mais um filme juntos, mas estamos naquele estágio em que estamos apenas pensando nas possibilidades. O diretor Christopher Nolan é que está pensando, na verdade [...] Chris é o tipo de diretor que pensa profundamente em seus filmes e passa um bom tempo entendendo as coisas antes de começar, assim quando ele começa já está tudo mapeado."
